What the numbers and scores mean
The post-match table, rank, hero attributes and the percentages on this site — a short note on every number you will see.
The match table
- K / D / A — kills, deaths and assists. For a support, assists and few deaths matter more than kills.
- LH / DN — last hits and denies. A good benchmark for a carry is 50–70 last hits by minute ten.
- GPM and XPM — gold and experience per minute: how fast the hero grows.
- Net Worth — the value of all the hero's items and gold.
- Hero damage, building damage and healing — the hero's share in fights and pushes.
Hero attributes
- Strength — health and health regeneration.
- Agility — armor and attack speed.
- Intelligence — mana and mana regeneration.
- A hero's primary attribute also adds attack damage. Universal heroes get a little damage from all three.
- On a hero page, attributes are written as “base value + gain per level”.
Rank and medals
- Matchmaking rating (MMR) goes up for ranked wins and down for losses. You see it as a medal: Herald, Guardian, Crusader, Archon, Legend, Ancient, Divine and Immortal — from newcomers to the best players of a region. Every medal except Immortal has five stars.
- The game also tracks behavior: reports and abandoned games lower your behavior score, and abandoning matches can send you to the low priority queue.
Percentages on this site
- Win % — the share of games a hero or pair won in public matches over recent days.
- pp — percentage points: how much more or less often a pair wins than each hero's strength predicts. +2 pp is a noticeable difference, ±0.5 is almost none.
- Games — how many matches the number is based on. The more games, the more reliable it is.
- Complexity stars on hero pages are Valve's rating, from one (simple) to three (hard).
